scapegoat

did i watch it happen 

or few mammals in closets,

did i walk on your streets 

or construct new lockups? 

children of priests 

tore volumes of past,

goons and leaders said,

"you've to break your fast,"

soils never need to 

forget to forgive at last,

they can trash one planting,

what if trees grow in mass,

brooms or contracts,

charges or consensus 

or just spineless thought,

no, am i a scapegoat?

and i shouldn't get hurt,

no i am not a scapegoat.
